I was encouraged as a child to sing at Youth Congress and the Annual Convocation as entourage of the CPC, known as the Chicago Pentecostal Choir, directed by the late renowned Elder James Lenox and baritone Soloist and Minister of Music Jerry Bratton.
Gospel Artist James Cleveland, Sister Mattie Moss Clark and the Clark Singers, the O’Neal Twins, Jessie Dixon, The Barrett Singers, Inez Andrews, Albertina Walker, Sarah Jordan Powell, and not to mention the Late Great TV personality Mahalia Jackson they’re too numerous to name.
Elder Carlis Moody-now Bishop was prolific in empowering and equipping members to carry the Word in their heart. As Evangelist I was commissioned by the Holy Spirit as churches planters and builders it was enjoyable walking in my call, ministry with Pastor Charles Taylor, the membership grew rapidly, we had no bank account, funds tripled the amount record in the church records, it more than doubled stuffed under my mattress, enough for a down payments and GROUND BREAKING for our new Church, our miracle hit the News Papers.
A breakthrough after Intercessory Prayer came Gethsemane Church, we communicated by way of Radio Broadcasting, Food Pantry, free Clothing to Lake County residents, with Street Witnessing distributing gospel material, exalting holiness rebuking the enemy Demonic forces. As humanitarians helping remove the mar of the Youth, Gangs, High School Drop-Outs and Troubles Teens and teaching loath to violence.
Tragedy struck after dismissing Sunday Service my own 19 month old baby was hit by a car tumbling him down the block underneath the vehicle, he sustained minor bruises and abrasions no broken bones God granted a supernatural move within me, I devoted 7, 21, 40 days and nights to fasting, praying seeking the Lord at Church daily for months. With the Word in song I began shaping my children future as The Tucker Trio Singers, through vision they achieved successes after many appearances from coast to coast, winning Awards, Certificates and their own recognized personality singing that eradicated sin and death they had interviews by the media, published in New Papers and heard weekly on the Radio Broad-Cast.
An elderly Church Mother laid in a Coma after experiencing triple By-Pass Surgery, proclaimed hearing the Tucker Trio singing one of Rev James Cleveland favorite (I Don’t Feel No Ways Tired) “I don’t believe you brought me this far to leave me”, immediately awakened from a lengthy Coma returned to Church and blessed the congregation with a hallelujah testimony.
Blessed at Cogic Headquarters, Memphis, Tenn., working under Presiding Bishop J O Patterson, and State Mother A B Patten, with God’s favor I was Assistant State Sunshine Band President. While in the local Church we Implemented Vacation Bible School, Feeding Program, transportation, Missionary Training, Youth Ministries, Counseling Couples, and Friday Social fellowship. The State Sunshine Band consist of five hundred children in uniformed robes from across the state of Tennessee, worshiped before thousands at the Annual State Convocation, many filled with the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues, an exploding shout praising God, Bishops, Pastors, Mothers, and Saints confessed they’d never experienced the move of God over the youth like that before.
As a concern parent, I was able to reach many secular areas placing programs back in the School system, reinstated (PTA) Parent Teachers Association after ten years; as PTA-President, we adopted Fund Raising Programs that paid for the School Play Ground Equipment, purchased Hooked On Phonics for educational development, new Books and classroom materials. Our PTA had the largest ethnic parental participation ever the Principal stated history was made for Cora Lake School.
As a Preacher, Evangelist, Motivational Speaker, returned to Illinois empowered by God, The Tucker Trio traveled from place to place singing, especially during the holidays they were scheduled City Wide for Christmas Caroling at multiple functions and always to the elderly. Years down the road the enemy shows up in my family causing confusion, divorce, issues, traumatized children, family Reputation Destroyed, to what was known as the perfect family or close to it.
After ten years life must go on, at the alter immediately after taking our marriage vowels and attempting to exit the Church appeared before us was a small child glared up at us said; “God Bless You” we looked at each other in awe and down again, there was no one there we received that blessing and today looking back at almost twenty years.
The Holy Spirit moved over me on evening I walked to service just blocks from home, the Prophet called me up for prayer, he simply said, ‘Satan I rebuke you of her life, and out of her life in every way in the name of Jesus' I walked home and was totally healed, delivered and set free of sin.
That night I experience an OUT OF BODY ENCOUNTER WITH GOD RECEIVING HIS INSTRUCTIONS.
Later my husband joined me at Church helped me get through ministry school, praying, studying, fasting; he repented and was baptized by Pastor James Logan in the late 1990’s. Recognizing the necessity of forgiveness and daily repentance I received my breakthrough.
God begin to deal with me in an audible voice saying “The storm is passing over I will send you forth Preach my Word”. I stood puzzled in prayer, wondering where to go and what to do? I began to see and heard lost souls crying out for help.
The last day of Leadership Classes and Graduation at World Harvest the last lesson Pastor Rod Parsley expressed, It’s time for you to experience a new level in Holiness, which seemingly struck personal nerves for only me.
Pastor Moment was a devoted soldier reaching out to everyone, up day and night tarrying and toiling with souls Bishop B Moment-Pastor & Founder, of Seek For The Old Path Church and Mission, was an example to the world. As an Ordained Elder and Licensed Pastor under Bishop Moment give me great honor to have known such a diligent worker. During a TV appearance I shared my vision and a brief message as I ministered as Co/Pastor and Founder at Divine Power Outreach Ministries. God continued my labor and gave birth to Temple Of Revelation Church, in Galatians 1:12, the ministry was dedicated Under the Auspice of Bishop William Haven Bonner, Sixth Jurisdiction of Illinois in 2003 I hold credentials as a Licensed and Ordained Leader in Cogic. Bishop Charles Blake, International Prelate Bishop-Pastor of Cogic.
With God's approval, He was not through with me, in 2009 planting seeds of faith God birthed yet another ministry Team Ministries, Elder L Z Bonds, Pastor another powerful place of worship. Our worship welcomes the Father Son and Holy Ghost as special guest, and the general public for witnesses. Fellowship designed to supernaturally minister love that will overturn your circumstances forever.
