No siempre es facil detectar las senales y sintomas que indican que se hijo esta usando drogas, ya que algunos son comunes en el comportamiento de adolescentes perfectamente normales. Aunque no hay ninguna senal instantanea y concreta que indique claramente que un joven pudiera estra consumindo drogas a alcohol, las siguientes pueden ser algunas senales de un posible problema:

**Cambios en la asistencia escolar o baja en su rendimiento
**Aislamiento, depresion, fatiga
**Falta de interes en su apariencia personal
**Hostilidad o falta de cooperacion
**Cambois fiscos {nariz persistentemente congestuionada, ojos rojos, catarro, jadeo, moretones}
**Pedri dinero pestado con frecuencia o tener dinero en efectivo extra.

It is not always easy to see signs and symptoms related to drugs use because many signs are common in perfectly normal teens. If you notice any significant change in your child's behavior, that could mean your child is using drugs. While there is no single warning sign for drug or alcohol use, some signs of a possible problem include:

**Skipping classes or not doing well in school
**Isolation, depression, fatigue
**Lack of interest in personal appearance
**Hostility or lack of cooperation
**Physical changes {constantly stuffy nose, red eyes, coughing, panting, black and blue marks.
**Borrowing money often or having extra cash.
